Want to make a real difference for joeys in need? Take part in our Wildlife Hero Challenge and become a true animal lifesaver! Every action you take—big or small—helps spread the word about the incredible work we do at Sunset Creek Wildlife Sanctuary.
Simply register for our competition, complete the challenge tasks below (each one gives you one entry into the competition), take a photo of your activity and share it with us on social media (Instagram, Tiktok or Facebook) using #sunsetcreekstannifer
One lucky winner will receive a VIP tour of Sunset Creek Wildlife Sanctuary (valued at $320) including a guided nature walk, an information session and an up close and personal encounter with one (or more) of our joeys.

Challenge Dates
The Wildlife Hero Challenge runs from 1st May to 30th June. All entries must be completed and submitted by 11:59 PM on 30th June. -
Who Can Enter
The challenge is open to children and families of all ages. Adult supervision is encouraged for younger children. -
How to Participate
Complete as many of the Wildlife Hero Challenge activities as you like. Don’t forget to take photos of your completed activities and share them with us (with permission from a parent or guardian). -
Sharing Your Work
By sending us your photos or work, you give permission for Sunset Creek Wildlife Sanctuary to share them on our website, social media, or educational materials (first names only will be used unless otherwise agreed). -
Prize
One winner will be selected at random at the close of competition. Winner will be notified by email. -
Be Safe & Respectful
All activities should be done safely, with respect for nature and wildlife. Please follow local laws and guidelines. -
