Sunset Creek
Wildlife Sanctuary
A piece of quiet
Our Story
Sunset Creek Wildlife Sanctuary has a deep passion for protecting Australia’s unique wildlife. Nestled in a peaceful bushland setting, our sanctuary provides a safe haven for a variety of native animals, including the endangered Yellow-bellied Glider.
We are currently working on establishing a joey nursery, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned joeys and injured macropods, giving them the best chance to return to the wild. Through hands-on conservation, education, and community support, we strive to make a lasting impact on Australia’s wildlife.
Every stay at Sunset Creek Glamping (coming soon) helps fund our rescue efforts, allowing guests to experience nature while directly supporting our mission. Together, we can protect and care for the incredible animals that call Australia home.

Testimonials
I visited Sunset Creek recently and I was immediately impressed by the beautiful secluded Australian bush which provides the perfect sanctuary for native animals including Eastern grey kangaroos, wallabies, varieties of lizards and many birds such as the black cockatoos which are now not a familiar sight in residential areas. I came away feeling refreshed and ready for city life again.

There is nothing like some time in the unspoiled Australian bush. I really enjoyed the walk to the creek and the animal spotting during our walk.

Sunset Creek Wildlife Sanctuary is a true hidden gem. The peace and quiet here are unlike anywhere else—just the sounds of nature and the gentle rustling of the trees. Watching kangaroos graze at sunset and stargazing under the clear night sky made for an unforgettable experience. A perfect place to reconnect with nature and find serenity.
